The Components of a Scaffold Tower
A scaffold tower comes in handy when one wants to work on an elevated structure. They are used to not only support the person who is working but also the materials, equipments as well as any other item that the worker might require. Mobile scaffold systems have been developed to aid in the movement during tasks. Due to their designs, the scaffold tower features a number of components. First are the adjustable legs. These are all the four legs that allow movement. Braces on the other hand, provide the tower with rigidity.
A caster is used to pivot the wheels in a moving scaffold tower. Frame on the other hand is the main structure. The Guardrail is used to ensure that the worker is safe while he or she is elevated. The working plat form provides the base to stand and place equipment. Stabilizers are used to increase safety where as the toe board prevents the tools from falling.
